TERRA FIRMA (DUATHLON)
We appreciate that not everyone likes swimming so we have a non swim option in the “Terra Firma” (the solid earth; firm ground). The race distances are Run 2.5km / Bike 21.5km / Run 5km
Course Description:
Run #1 = 2.5km (1 lap)
The start will be near the swim start line. Complete 1 lap of the run course then enter the transition at the same entry point as the triathletes.
Bike Course
The bike will be almost two laps of the course. Towards the end of your first lap you do not come all the way back to transition, instead make a U turn at the McLeans Island roundabout and complete a second lap.

Run Course
The run will be two laps comprising an out and back on a trail towards the Groynes then a lap of the lake in an anti clockwise direction. The entire run is on shingle paths.
