TERRA FIRMA (DUATHLON)

We appreciate that not everyone likes swimming so we have a non swim option in the “Terra Firma” (the solid earth; firm ground). The race distances are Run 2.5km / Bike 21.5km / Run 5km

Course Description:

  • Run #1 = 2.5km (1 lap) 

    • The start will be near the swim start line. Complete 1 lap of the run course then enter the transition at the same entry point as the triathletes.

  • Bike Course 

    • The bike will be almost two laps of the course. Towards the end of your first lap you do not come all the way back to transition, instead make a U turn at the McLeans Island roundabout and complete a second lap.

    • No drafting allowed (see race rules)

  • Run Course

    • The run will be two laps comprising an out and back on a trail towards the Groynes then a lap of the lake in an anti clockwise direction. The entire run is on shingle paths.
