Canterbury Secondary Schools Triathlon

The Secondary Schools Tri was due to be held back in March but was cancelled due to COVID-19 hence why we are including the event within the PAK’nSAVE Triathlon Festival.

The distances for this race are 300m swim / 13km bike / 2.5km run. 

Categories will be Under 14, 16, 19 with age taken at 1/1/20

Course Description:

• Swim Course

  • The swim will be a 300m triangular course within the lake (athletes will be out of their depth for the entire swim leg)

• Bike Course

  • The bike will be 1 lap of the course on open roads = 13km.

  • Any sort of bike is allowed. You do not need a racing bike; the only thing we will insist on is that you wear a cycle helmet and keep to the left at all times.

  • Drafting is not allowed
